Kings New and Used Tires is a tire shop in Lansing, Michigan. It is listed at 1523 S Cedar St, Lansing, MI 48910, which places it among the local businesses of Lansing that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as tire repair shop, used tire shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Every time I have went there they are polite and quick. They do an amazing job and show they care. Their prices are excellent especially if you can’t afford new tires.

I recently had service done at Kings Tire and now I’m dealing with a nightmare situation. One of my wheel locks/lug nuts was tightened so excessively with an impact gun that it cannot be removed at all. I ended up with a flat tire, and multiple mechanics including a dealership have been unable to remove the lock normally. I’m now being told the wheel lock may need to be welded, drilled, or torched off, which could mean replacing the wheel stud and other parts just to get my wheel off. This all could have been avoided if proper torque procedures were followed. Wheel locks should never be tightened to the point where no shop can remove them. Extremely frustrating and expensive situation.

I went there today around noon today, they were not busy at all. I asked if they would rebalance my tires. I was told that I wouldn't want them to do it cause it would cost $80.00 and your right...... I went down the street to affordable tire they charged me 22 bucks to rebalance all 4 of my tires.
